Cheap Auto Insurance  Reply with quote

So I had an at fault bodily injury accident in November 2012 and it will go away in a few months. I've been paying over $170 a month for a 2011 Yaris with me as the only driver, in the bay area, this entire time, because I felt like I owed it to State Farm to help recover the money they lost on me.

Since January 2014, I've worked as an adjuster for a rival company and realize State Farm sucks. They're rude, ignorant, don't return calls, don't have a specific adjuster assigned so everything is repeated, and on top of that when somebody backed into my car three months ago they told me I had to repair through Sedgwick as if I went through State Farm they wouldn't advance my deductible, I would have to wait for subrogation. Essentially: "We value making $10 on interest off your funds than taking care of you. Thanks for being our customer, and give us a 10 on this survey"

I drive safely, I haven't had a ticket in 3 years, and I don't want minimum limits. I want an actual policy, and to not pay $170 a month. I've honestly considered the General, Freeway, Amica, etc. Working this job, I've actually never had a bad claim with any of these companies or felt like the adjusters are incompetent. Pretty much my only criteria at this point is a company that has a dedicated adjuster and low rates

Suggestions?
