This is the part I don't understand. Maybe you can enlighten me; without derogatory insults please.

I grew up poor. Poorer than ANYONE else I knew. Parents couldn't pay for anything beyond basic necessities. I graduated high school and found work with the department of defense. I've also had jobs with Qwest communications, ClearChannel, Jacor, and the department of transportation. I've started my own company on the side for a while. I worked my way through numerous universities and have advanced degrees. While not making CEO type pay, I do make a 6 figure income. My 25 year old son has a PhD, masters, and B.S degree. My daughter also has a college degree. Neither of them have ANY student loan debt, and I DID NOT have to pay for their college. They worked hard and received scholarships and fellowships. My daughter at 28 years old makes around $60k a year. My son makes around $80k a year at 25 years old. I own copyrights. At 55 years old, I have enough resources to retire completely if I wanted to and live quite comfortably. I will retire from full time work when I turn 60 years old.

OldGuy has a very similar background of meager beginnings. He too worked his way up. Patented a number of ideas. Worked for NASA. Raised children and now grand children who have also prospered from their hard work and efforts. And I'm sure, just like me, OldGuy feels that he probably made some great contributions to society.

But for some reason, because YOU haven't done anything productive with your life, at least nothing that you are willing to tell us, WE ARE the ones you consider to be RETARDED. Why is that. This is what I don't understand. All the things you say you want to be able to do, OldGuy and I HAVE been able to do and achieve. Including contributing to society. And we did it with a SYSTEM that promotes and encourages that success for those with the initiative and drive to pursue their dreams. But again, WE are the ones you call retarded. That you are the superior one. Why? Because we suggest you get off your lazy A$$ and take control of your life? Because we don't believe that anyone should be given anything for free? Because we beIieve that you, the individual, you have complete control over your future; good or bad? Yet, WE are the ones who are retarded?

And again, you don't answer questions posed to you. You haven't answered a direct question in 27 pages.

You speak of not being able to attain your dream. Yet, I ask you if I, OldGuy, and millions upon millions of other CAN attain our goals, why are WE "The Problem". Why can't you admit that maybe the reason you haven't attained your dreams and goals isn't because of money, government, patents, etc. but instead, because of your own actions; or lack of actions.

This is what I don't understand. You present your beliefs as though we (The rest of mankind) is suppose to be miserable. That we are suffering. That we are sad and with despair. The problem is; we aren't sad, miserable, suffering, or in despair. We are happy. We feel comfortable with our achievements. We feel good about our contributions towards other. I personally feel very good with the amount of time I volunteer towards helping others; as well as money and other resources I give.

Is there poverty in the world? Most definitely. Is there some despair and suffering? No doubt. But there's also a lot of good in the world. One on one, most people are quite compassionate and loving towards one another.

Again, this is what confuses me and you are unable to answer. Every complaint you have about this world, government, and species, are complaints that only you seem to have. I've never heard one other person complain at the level that you do. Everyone complains about something. Myself included. Complain about the government, politics, taxes, economy, health care, war, etc. But again, I've never hear ANYONE complain at the level that you do. And all of your retorts consist of you saying "WE" don't and can't understand..... that you are so superior...... and in the end, I hear nothing but excuses.
