My Signature & the HTML Code  Reply with quote

My signature does not show up even though it is checked to do so. In addition, the HTML is checked; yet the HTML states it is off.

Thanks,
stomarpro

Sorry for your problems, I'll attempt to help you with some basic troubleshooting ideas before we escalate the issue. Have you tried deleting your signature and submitting and then re-entering the signature and submitting? As for the HTML, what exactly is your issue with this? I also have the same settings under my profile, but it does display HTML coding when you edit, but it still works just fine. Could be a bug in the coding of the website.

Yes I have deleted the signature and resubmit in an attempt to get it to show. After reading your reply, I deleted and resubmitted again, and replied to an introduction to test; however, the system is still not showing my signature

The HTML is checked; however, it states above that HTML is OFF.

Thanks.

If your able to type in HTML and see the codes as you edit, then I wouldn't worry about the glitch.
As for the signature issue, I'll send it up the chain and see if the admin can resolve this for you.

Try quoting a post to see if the HTML code displays.

What association do you have with stomarpro since your IP address shows the Phillipines?

I dont have any association with stomarpro, I'm just curious because I am also facing the same problem with him, so instead of having a new thread, I'm just watching this thread if I can find the answer Smile.

Here is the best info I could come up with. Signatures only allow BBCode, which is basically the same, just a different tag format.

The allowing HTML checker does not really serve much purpose.

StormPro, I have contacted my Admin to see what steps are necessary to resolve your signature and HTML issue.

Personal matters kept me from being active on this forum. I just created a new post and see that my signature and website are still not showing. Thanks for your help with this matter.

As a moderator I don't have the rights to resolve this issue, so I'm not sure why admin hasn't addressed this issue yet.

Same issues as well on my end, but from reading other posts it seems that a requirement of a minimum 50 posts has been imposed before a signature can be displayed.
