A friend of mine has had an auto shop for 22 years and now wants to sell the property. She is in poor health and 66 years old.
The property is worth about 700K and the building is at the end-of-life, so that's about the total sales price.
The question is: Where can she find someone to advise her on minimizing taxes, and investing the rest so she can live on the proceeds?
If anyone has specific knowledge, I'd appreciate some hints (I'm her IT guy), and if there is a type of specialist she should be talking to I'd also like to know.
Obviously, if she had engaged a competent management accountant before this she wouldn't be in this bind.
Thanks

There a lot of financial advisers online and even in your local area where you can meet for consultation.
