The Internet is an incredible money powerhouse. According to a Clickz.com article "Internet Pumps $507 Billion into US Economy" by C. Afzali...

quote:

In the last year, the Internet economy has surpassed century-old industries such as telecommunications ($300 billion) and airlines ($355 billion) in size and is now approaching the publishing ($750 billion) and the health-care industry ($1 trillion).

http://www.clickz.com/stats/markets/professional/article.php/5971_227421

...and this article is several years old as of this writing. The point being that huge amounts of commerce are taking place on the web, and businesses can no longer take the web for granted. Obviously many businesses are founded upon the web, with no brick-and-mortar outlets, such as Amazon and Ebay. Millions of people around the world are currently making their living via the web, and it just keeps growing. New digital services that did not exist just a few years or even months ago are creating new sources of wealth and an innovative new business could make you a millionaire in no time in the new virtual world. This new Money Talk forum "The Web for Profit" is here to help you take advantage of this new cyber-frontier.

Take the Internet Income poll!

I voted 50% of my income from the web via my web hosting business. The other 50% through IT consulting which is really getting old.

However, I'm pursuing my goal to make total digital living by the end of the year. I'm looking into Domain Trading ATM, already made couple $100 doing it.

http://www.dnforum.com is a good place to start for anyone looking to learn about domain name trading as I am.

My eCommerce Projects have done very well and getting better day by day. I Don't think that I will completely quit my 9-5 even if my internet stuff takes off.

Internet Success  Reply with quote

Greetings,

No doubt about it, the internet is the place to be for passive income, and if you start out without any greater expectations, then you won't be disappointed and quit just before your ship comes in. This is the number one problem with most internet opportunities, they over hype the results, and this sets most people up for failure. Sad, but most people will quit just before they succeed, they just never know when that is, and that is why the true entrepreneurs succeed, while most fail We never give up.

I could write a book on my experiences, as I am sure many can here. The differencle between success and failure is so simple, but most never learn this. You have to fail before you will succeed. Most people never learn the basics of being an entrepreneur, but it all starts with never quitting. Just like in sales, you have to hear ten no answers before hearing a yes. All successful people have learned this secret, so my advice is as simple as that, do your due diligence, identify the market, then never give up.

Good luck, Mike

Very will put. I've failed on many sites before but you do learn from your mistakes and you have to try new things until you find something that works then its great!
