Best way to eat Cheese?!  Reply with quote

I love cheese.

This thread is to honor the humble and flexible cheese, and all it's many forms and tastes.

Feel free to talk about your favorite way to consume it, or regale us with your amusing cheese-related anecdote.

I will start.

Living in Texas is great, as it is the home of Tex-Mex, a unique variation of Mexican cuisine that is very tasty. One signature Tex-Mex dish is Chips and Queso. Queso is Spanish for cheese, and in this context refers to a form of melted cheese sauce for dipping with chips. It's crunchy and creamy, comes in many variations, from too close to melted Velveta, to nice flour-based ones. I like to add tomatoes, cilantro and onions for a touch of health vegetables. Yum. Never get tired of it!

I also love cheese. I love cheese indiscriminately. In fact, I used to eat shredded cheese out of the little plastic baggies like popcorn. Good times.

My dog loves cheese - any kind. In fact, he won't eat his dried dog food without a topping of Parmesan (sp?) or Romano cheese.

On my sandwiches Swiss is a must but as a snack, Polly-O Mozzarella is my absolute favorite. I could live on it if necessary Wink
