How to enable signature?  Reply with quote

I accessed my Profile and entered words in the Signature block but they do not appear in my forum posts. What do I need to do to get it to display?

Edit: well, I see it now. But, another question. How do I put a hyperlink in my Signature block? I tried wrapping [url][/url] around a URL but that did not work.

The link should work fine with or without the tags. Make sure you have "use BBCode" enabled in your profile.

Use the following:

code:
[url=http://www.yourwebsitesaddress.com]CLICKABLE TEXT[/url]

Also you should set "Always attach my signature:" to YES.

You need to be a contributing member here at WPW to have your signature enabled/displayed. Quality posting is recommended, as posting just to increase one's post count will result in posts being moderated.

Signature permissions are automatically enabled upon registration. The signature content itself must be set in the member profile and the attach signature preference set to 'yes'
