US Bank.
Although, I cannot speak from experience with other banks other than a regional Minnesota one called Bremer Bank.
I LOVE US Bank though.

Well it is a good bank. Free checking and savings. I have my main VISA credit card through them which I earn rewards from.
They're layout for looking at your accounts online is easy to understand and appealing to work with. They also have an iPhone app that I'm excited to get when I get my iPhone this week.
They have free "Bill Pay" where you essentially can send checks drawing from your checking account out to anyone - and this can be set up automatically with reminders and such.
I really am very pleased. I have nothing bad to say about them.

Oh. Yes. In general credit unions are suppose to be superb over banks with better interest rate offers.
I didn't open an account with the area credit union because I only plan to be in the area for four more years. With US Bank - it's EVERYWHERE. And on my phone.

I am happy with Bank of America as far as the local branch goes but I find their 800 customer service people poorly trained. I prefer my local credit union. They try harder.
In the past whenever I would find a new bank that I liked they would be aquired by a bigger one that I didn't like.
