According to Wikipedia, Nietzsche wrote critical texts on religion, morality, contemporary culture, philosophy and science, displaying a fondness for metaphor, irony and aphorism.
An aphorism is an original thought.
So perhaps finding your own unique Niche would be an aphorism?
But probably, it was a simple play on words, LOL.
As for Nietzsche being influenced by Confucious, I have no idea.
