| Best Option for Tracking Bonds Online in Portfolio |

Have been using Google Finance and Morningstar to track some family investments. We have some bonds in the mix held at Edward Jones. I can't seem to find a good way to track them online. Does anyone know a good online portfolio tracker that includes a good bond resource covering municipal and corporate bonds. I am coming up empty handed.
The Edward Jones reporting is not satisfactory -- it takes numerous clicks to see exactly what is happening and the value of the bond portion of the portfolio does seem to fluctuate -- plus there is no accounting in the software for the interest that the bonds are generating, so you have to take out a spreadsheet to see that. Help!

Tracking bond prices is chancy because the market's so thin. To have online price reporting, you've got to have enough trading in the security to have market pricing, which is the price that an automated system will pick up. You don't have market pricing without trading. And so the automated systems will report last market price, which may be current and may be days old; you just don't know. If you're doing this just to track it for your own information, I'd suggest you just develop a synthetic price based on recent average prices.

I personally used Quicken personal financial management software, where you can manage your Edward Jones investments within the 1 program.
