As with everything else in life, good or bad depends on how we make it. Money can be used for many positive things, or if abused can be used for many bad things. It depends on the person and how they use it, that's what makes it what it is.

Not necessary. But again, this may be a paradox - where to root out evil, you need money in the first place. Take the US-EuroZone issue at hand now. The world is dictated by who has money, and who uses it wisely!
