However, make sure when you're receiving advice from financial planners that you are getting unbiased advice. At times, if there is a reason for them to recommend a solution or an investment, they can be earning extra on your behalf. So like anything, make sure you check your options.

Financial planning is vital for the future, lots of people have not planned effective enough and enjoyed credit during the up turn in the economy, now we are in a downturn we see a lot of people struggling and therefore more people are turning to Debt management companies for help and IVA, which I think is a good option for people that didn’t financially plan years ago.
Freeze your interest with an IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement)
