Might help you to exercise daily. The adrenalin rush might give you that added kick so that you can get things moving.

"Life" doesn't want you or anyone else to die. It's an oxymoron. Survival is the goal of life.
Perhaps you've looked upon your adverse experiences as some force outside yourself trying to beat you down. Nothing could be further from the truth. Forces outside you couldn't care less. The experiences are impersonal. What is personal is your reaction to them. Whether you allow them to beat you down or whether you fight back. Fighting back takes practice. The more you practice, the better you get. Start fighting and stop surrendering. Start with something that's easy. Fight that battle and win it. Make yourself a small victory. Then go on to the next. You're trying to fight all your battles all at once. Don't even think about the things you have no control over right now. It's a pointless waste of mental and physical energy. Focus on the small thing you can do now; do that one thing; fight that one battle; win that one battle and then and only then go on to the next.
I think you're an intelligent person who's just been thinking too much.

Agreed. I'll plan to get started with that this weekend.

Sounds like great advice. I did attempt to take my life, but was unsuccessful. Just spent nearly 2 weeks in the hospital and only just now got back on this forum a few minutes ago.
One of my biggest problems is patience. If I were to be patient enough, I could pay off all my old debts, save up for a nice car, and get my own place. It just takes a lot of time and it seems smarter to look for a win-win way out of this situation. Also momentum is slow when feeling so down.
I'm trying to think of one battle right now. I guess I would choose coming up with some cash to boost my daily joy and reduce depression.
I'm very mathematical. Here are some aspects to my situation:
1) I'm stuck in something like a hole with tons of potential being wasted. I don't really enjoy the days much.
2) I have a job where I can make upwards of $7500/month if I get happy and work 40 hours/wk. I would expect $10,000+/month in the near future even.
3) If I had enough money to move by the beach, get a fun car, and new clothes, then I would become happy in a matter of a couple days.
Any advice on how to approach asking someone for money in exchange for offering them a larger return in the near future? It's funny your pic is of a cat. It turns out 3 of my 5 friends that I hang out with are cats. The others are dogs. lol. It's awkward approaching strangers for money. I kind of hoped dialog on here would generate some interest.
I've been thinking about putting up a webpage and paying for some google adwords. The webpage would describe my situation and provide enough information to verify my employment and credibility as related to being an extremely honest person. I should have some good references for that. I'm just not sure how to approach it. I have no idea what kind of offer I would need to make to get people interested. Getting money quickly is very valuable to me so I would be perfectly happy to hookup those that helped me. I'm flexible and would have to work out the numbers, but I could offer some pretty sweet arrangements.
I'm totally for real. I want to do things right, but I don't have it all figured out yet. For instance I'm not sure what accounting / legal aspects need to be considered. Also I was trying to think of how to do some kind of official transaction record keeping. A paypal receipt may not be that great.
It sucked being locked in the hospital for nearly two weeks, but at least I feel more hopeful than in a long time. Next week I'm feeling like I will be able to work 25+ hours regardless of help from anyone. I just wish I had the right person (or people) that wanted to earn some extra cash and help me get happy for like the first time in my life (I'm 29).

I'm very glad you were unsuccessful at this one thing. I think you have the potential to be very successful at life, but it sounds like you're still having some problems with the point of view you're developing your thought processes from. I have three suggestions to point you in the right direction:
1) realize that happiness comes from within. Moving to the beach will NOT produce happiness. You'll just be depressed in more pleasant surroundings. The only way to be happy is to be happy. Some people with biochemical imbalances of certain neurotransmitters or other physical problems need medical assistance to balance the physiological processes involved with the nervous system, and there's no problem with that. Some people that have experiences that interfere with the way they look at life may need counseling. And there's no problem with that. And no doubt a pleasant surrounding is most helpful. But just realize that nothing can MAKE you happy. Especially money!! All those other things are just enablers; they aren't producers. You can only be happy. Think about it. To be happy, just be happy.
2) work that's enjoyable and that makes use of and stimuilates your intellectual and physical abilities is a great tonic. If the work you're talking about is something you're good at and enjoy doing, then just go do it. You'll find that the just doing of it improves your life. If you don't enjoy it, no amount of money will make you enjoy. Then find something else to do. Something you like to do and are good at.
3) I'm glad you want to do what's right. Now start looking for what's right. Here's a clue: the right thing to do in almost every situation is what benefits the OTHER person. So now go figure out how to use your talents and abilities to help or benefit some other person/people/problem and your expenditure in time, energy, and money will be well repaid with ..... what? ..... HAPPINESS!!! Because it came from within, because you were focused on something else than yourself, because it involved giving something. Giving is a great way to improve your disposition.
Now ....
GO OUT AND LIVE LIFE!!
YOU CAN DO IT, AND YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL AT IT!!

I'm back to work making some money again which is good.
I'm still wondering how I could get a loan. To be honest, I kind of hoped I would get interest on here for what I can offer.
The situation is such that a lender could change my life dramatically so easy. I would be happy for them to make a lot of money from me. I suppose it is what it is though on an internet forum.
I'm thinking maybe my next step will be to use Google adwords to help try and find 1 or more lenders.

It's good to hear things are going well. I think for the time being, it would be good for your psyche to just apply yourself to your work, and count that as your first victory. Enjoy every day; don't be concerned yet about the future; keep those jets on cool for a while yet.
Best wishes, and I do mean it.

Thanks. I'm considering joining gobignetwork.com though. I'm hopeful on there I could find some loan or credit card. I'll give an update as things progress.
