It seems their government economists have gone totally insane and have learned nothing from history.

There is something in this. The Japanese government would love a bit of inflation to help erode the massive debts they have run up over the last twenty years.

They are currently operating in an economic twilight zone. It is like someone with such a massive credit card bill they will never be able to pay it off and so just pay the minimum every month and put off thinking about it until next month.

We have all been struck by the devastation of the earthquake and subsequent tsunami that affected Japan on March 11, 2011. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who has been, and continues to be, affected by the impact of these twin events. The situation on the ground is still in flux and many people have been asking how they can help but Personal freedom is not valued high as well as If you get noodles, slurp them, it displays that the meal is good. Japanese value silence. So sometimes give your guest/ host the opportunity to relax and be quiet. Japanese are very direct, so prepare yourself for questions like: "How big is your house?" or "How much money do you earn?"

According to the official sources, the disasters left 15,839 dead and 3,647 missing. It's very sad.

Yes,i'm sure.
Japan is a very import country in world, the GDP is third,Japan government will not develop nuclear power,so japan will need too much oil and coal, the oil will become more expensive.
