I've slowly been learning the art of SEO but was wondering what the best ways are to increase image traffic. Basically the best SEO tips for images. If anyone has any history or has had success with this, any tips would help. Thanks.

The best way for you to increase traffic to images is by labeling them properly. You can also go by including brief descriptions in your images.

that's a good question. Well, if you want to increase the traffic of your images, you must put unique keywords on the image source.

In addition, check out Google's free keyword tool to see which relevant words/phrases get the most search volume.

I agree - the best way to work with SEO and images is proper tagging/labeling. You can also submit your images to different directories if it applies. If you have a logo , for example, you can submit it to brandsoftheworld.com and get a backlink. There are creative ways to get SEO juice and traffic from images.

In fact, if you are able to get it right, you will be able to get lots traffic through them. The key here is making your images interesting.

Label them in a way (or terms) that people would easily remember. Linking to the simplest words or group of words that is common to people can boost your pics and images in search engines.

1. Give Alt text for images.
2. Page content should be related to image alt text.

I accede - the best way to plan with SEO and images is able tagging/labelling. You can aswell abide your images to altered directories if it applies. If you accept a logo , for example, you can abide it to cast bendable the world.com and get a backlink. There are artistic means to get SEO abstract and cartage from images.
