Email marketing is a great opportunity to reach out to millions of people in a matter of seconds.

Through opt-in email addresses the response rate is real high, and so the internet allows email marketers great chances for profit, list building, and traffic. But, besides the simplicity of email marketing there are some basics to understand to know that you’re going through it in the best way.

Like mentioned, there are great benefits to email marketing, so it makes sense to take time to understand it. There’s a few benefits of marketing through email & I will quickly cover them here.

Fast-
First, the greatest benefit of all is the fast approach of email and the just as fast responses. It is possible to send out your first email and then get orders in the inbox in minutes. Email marketing is pretty much the fastest and amazing out of all marketing methods when you use it correctly.

Testing-
Marketing emails will usually have to be tested. Testing is a typical part of any kind of marketing. With email marketing the testing is much faster since the process of email marketing is sped up anyways, and so testing various emails will be faster.

Affordable-
When doing email marketing not much money has to be spent. All that is needed is a computer, internet, and time to write an email. Email marketing in general is free although you will have to pay for other things in order to do so.

Response-
Another amazing part about email marketing is the ability to get responses in almost light speed; basically minutes. The reason is that the individual on the receiving end will receive the email and then make a decision. They will either delete your email without reading it, delete it after reading some or all, or read it and buy what you’re promoting/marketing. And the best part is those that are happy with the product or purchase could forward it to friends or family, thus increasing sales and your customer base.

Email marketting saves a lot of time.Also whatever you have explained is absolutely ok.Email marketing can also help generate new customers for you by providing your audience with the automated option to 'forward to my friend' within your newsletter.Without any cost email marketing allows you to communicate with prospects and the existing customer, it increases your order value and helps in increasing your sales to the extent you used to get.

It is effective in terms of cost.
Email campaigns cost of an ad is one of the most effective methods. Direct e-mail is much cheaper than advertising in the media. No printing costs or mail that typically are associated with traditional direct mail. With the media through advertising Another benefit of email marketing is that it is not limited to any specific area: a few minutes in the world who has access to the Internet can reach anyone.

It is immediate.
After opening the e-mail message, do not take too long to take immediate action to your audience. Only a few clicks it takes customers to complete the purchase process, while other media people to send messages, make a call or go to the store is required. That is why conversion rates are better with email marketing.

E-mail marketing may evolve into a technology that uses a handshake protocol between the sender and receiver. This system is intended to eventually result in a high degree of satisfaction between consumers and marketers. If opt-in e-mail advertising is used, the material that is e-mailed to consumers will be "anticipated". It is assumed that the consumer wants to receive it, which makes it unlike unsolicited advertisements sent to the consumer. Ideally, opt-in e-mail advertisements will be more personal and relevant to the consumer than targeted advertisements.

Nice information and posts,have anybody use this method,would it be considered like spam?
Why would for example I read such emails?,i most delete such emails without reading.

E-mail marketing is a great tool as long as you send e-mails to your subscribers. If it's not your own database you can face some big troubles

I think email marketing, when done correctly, can still be a major channel for online businesses. From what I've seen in the few years I've been in the industry, too many businesses don't pay close enough attention to their email marketing campaigns. Just like website analytics or other data sources, email marketing must be tested, optimized and evaluated on a consistent basis in order to be effective.

With the influx of spam to many email users, more users are less likely to read your emails (even if they signed up through an opt-in form) if they look like they aren't personally useful. My best advice is to give out emails that are actually useful to your subscribers, whether it's including a free resource, an ebook, top ten guide, etc. I think as Internet users become more savvy email marketing will have to evolve in order to stay efficient.

E-mail marketing is a form of direct marketing which uses electronic mail as a means of communicating commercial or fund-raising messages to an audience. In its broadest sense, every e-mail sent to a potential or current customer could be considered e-mail marketing.

Good point. I've run email hosts since 1995, and the public's relationship with email has changed dramatically since the early days.

You don't delete mails from your friends, right?

That's the key, you have to build trust with your web site visitors, and make them feel like friends, and THEN they'll read your mailings. If they perceive you as a stranger who is mailing them ads, your chances of connecting aren't great.

Don't be a stranger, be a friend.

Don't mail ads, mail useful information.

Don't sell, serve.

The whole point is to still be in the reader's life when they decide they need something you offer, and then they seek you out, because they trust you.

Affiliate Marketing involves different concepts when it comes to promoting your affiliate site and when a visitor comes to your site, you don't know exactly what they want from visiting your site and so the benefits of email marketing comes in. Email Marketing is the practice of collecting information such as the name and email address of the person visiting your site
