Well, i understand prevention is better than cure, but sometimes we are caught in such unavoidable situations that we are left with no option. Therefore, whatever has happened, has happened. Think for some rectification measures. and in this Debt consolidation is a good way to solve financial burdens.

I have heard of nothing but bad things about Debt con solidation firms. They take your money, you pay thousands and some do nothing. Do you know that the federal gov't is after half of these places? Also, these places do hurt your credit and it shows up on your credit report as a red flag while your in the program.

The one biggest issue with that company is when the creditor comes to sue you. Woooops now that company just says here is your money minus are fees and we can give you some advice. Ouch. The reality is chances of getting sued now days is on the rise.
