We all know that having bad credit can cost you huge interest fees. Did you also know that potential employers can apply your credit card data and history to determine whether or not you get a job?

If you don't have a car have you considered buying one? If you could find a good company to take out a loan through that can always raise your credit. You could really finance anything. You could take out a small personal loan and just leave it right in the bank, sure you would have to pay a little extra on the interest but it would be like buying credit in a way.

but what do you say about the companies who say 5% interest rate and no credit check program? are they scam?

No, I have seen some companies who charges 20% interest rates and are no scam. You have to choose the right one you see.

Personally, a department store card worked for me. I applied for a card from my bank and got rejected because I had no credit. The teller suggested I go to JC Penney. I got a card, bought a few things each month, paid it off regularly, and had established credit in no time.

For decent credit score you should try your level best to incorporate good monetary lifestyle. Timely payment of your installments and monthly investments in your savings account it helps to build a good credit score.
