Obama signed the Health Care Bill but it appears once again this is turned into a political agenda between republicans and democrats instead of a law to help their fellow american country members.

I have read that as of 2014 this will be a requirment and if you are not insurance covered you will be fined but they also say there will be goverment programs that will help people that can't afford a health insurance.
I really think this is a positive measure for all of us the medical expenses in this country really get you down most people can't afford to get sick which is absurd.

This bill is a farce. It doesn't address the core reasons why our health care system is so screwed up and so expensive. In fact, it reinforces some of those very reasons. This, in my opinion, is going to postpone real reform for a decade.

As Long as People will not get turned away for necessary health care I will go with it. People that need surgery or chemo should not have to lose their home.

I do think that there are some flaws in the one that was passed, but I aswell think it is a step in the right direction. I think people are quick to criticize such a monument bill. I feel like a most of the general population will not firmly take a stance for health care until they can see the benefits of the law, which will take years.

It was a quick (bad) fix for a long-term problem. The real tragedy is that the thing is so long that no one really seems to understand or even to have read all of it! That is a crime. Anything so major should have been studied much more in-depth. Obama-worshippers cared more about saying they had won more than they cared about what was actually in the bill. It's going to be nothing but a huge mess, and most of what Obama promised (you'll have a choice, etc) is proving to be a big lie. Many companies now are dropping the insurance for their employees, who now will be forced into the government premiums, which are much, much more expense than private insurance ever was.

The breakthrough came after U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his assistant beautifully crafted compromise designed to prevent federal funding of abortion, same problem, almost stopped from the House-passed health care bill six weeks ago.

There are so many hidden cost in this bill that it is hard to tell what the final outcome will be, but estimating that we are paying to cover 10% of our population with money from the middle class, I have to figure that my share is going to be around 10,000.
