I am new to the whole "Money on the web" thing, and keep coming across the term Affiliate Marketing. Is this a viable source for making money? Can one, as many of the articles I have read said, actually make a living off of this? Sounds like a good way to do so if true.

WEll you can earn decent money
But remember quality traffic = $$$ and high quality traffic = you can be rich
You should try clickbank/paydotcom
Also have in mind SEO read test learn it or be prepared to pay for it ...

Nowdays, you will have to invest first and learn a lot before you'll earn your first Pound  It's getting harder and harder to earn in affilaite industry.

With affiliate marketing it is a saturated market. Unless you know how to draw enormous amounts of traffic to your site or sites it will be tough. Don't let this discourage you if you pursue affiliate marketing though, just look at it as a hobby first and learn, experiment, and have patience. Try to find a niche with little competition and one you are passionate about or know a lot about and that can help you.
Success is in your mind and heart, not in your doubts! So go for it and see where it takes you. You never know you could be the next internet guru.
