Haha that's funny you mentioned that "present to myself" because I never get gifts so I buy my own toys =). 2010, lets hope to profit more so we can buy more things we don't need HAHA.

Omega's are great, and it is good to see a classic watch. The new seamaster's are some of my favorites, nothing like wearing a bond watch. My rolex is my go to watch, but a good skeleton watch is fascinating to wear (although it kills productivity).

I never wear a watch or any jewelry. I don't see why one needs to spend so much money on a watch when a cheap cell phone does the same job. If you do need to buy a watch, it's just a time keeping device - surely only need to spend £30/$60?

It is effectively jewelry, same reason women wear earrings, etc. Also, I started wearing a watch long before cell phones came around so you get used to it.

All this talk about expensive watches made me go back in a memory of my college years when I had a philosophy teacher that told us "time did not exist" that day I discovered my watch was just an accesory the same as jewelry and stopped using it, and instead became co-dependent of my cellphone Rolling Eyes

I prefer a silver or black watch. I don't like how gold looks. Too gaudy.

Such a nice watch. Though I am not a watch guy, and I do not know anything about them, I can very well see that it is a nice watch. Right now I am so curious about the mobile phone watch. I was able to see one of that with a friend. I am planning on buying one for myself.
