Hi Millhugs,
Great to know that you had made over $400 just by taking surveys. It is unbelievable! According to what i know, most surveys companies will sign up people who stay in USA,Australia,United Kingdom,Canada etc.Based on my personal experiences, surveys are send out based on profiles inconsistently. It is require to sign up lots of surveys companies before making a substantial amount of money. Not forgetting,a person will be pre-qualify to be the right person for the surveys or else they were be screen out.
No offence.PTC and pay to read emails programs are good for earning some extra income online. To make serious money online,it is highly recommendable to go for proven opportunities with more money making potential.

That is a common mistake make by first time poster. With so many posts daily,it is difficult to monitor all the posts consistently.Bottomline is keep the percentage of spam as low as possible.
Normally, new member has to read the posting terms and conditions before making a post.Other forums have a system in place to keep out spams.Any members caught violating the rules consistently were have their accounts suspended.
Other frequent forum members can help to keep a lookout too.Normally,it is rude to create spam in forum.
Hope this helps.

THE "system in place" at this forum, and indeed on ALL forums, is the moderating staff. It's not possible to keep spam out. It has to be removed. However, removal cannot by done arbitrarily. Moderators need to follow the rules just as members do. In this moderator's OPINION (opinion based on experience), the INTENT of the OP in this thread is promotional and would make it subject to removal if the rules were violated.
They weren't, and that is why I gnash my teeth. Some borderline stuff does get through, but some stuff that looks borderline might actually turn out to be legitimate. And so there is a small percentage that slips through the cracks.

I agreed. This is a case of a loophole in the forum system. On the surface,it look like sharing information, personal experience and results about taking surveys online with an eye catching title. On a closer look,it is specifically written to promote the link in the signature indirectly. To a certain extent,it look like some kind of indirect spam. This post cannot be remove as the link is not being advertise in the post directly.
This is the loophole i am talking about. To cover it up,i suggest to state clearly in the forum rules the kind of posts allow in a greater details.
By the way,is it possible for members to report a spam posting?

That would take more rules than anybody would ever read.

I tried that whole survey thing a few years ago and it was a disgusting waste of time. Never saw a penny from any of it.

Its true, people can make money doing surveys online but you have to get the right and trusted site for it. There are sites out there who really pays. But what I can't believe in what he says was the amount he earned. Was that for one year? LOL
