brett favre vs green bay  Reply with quote

Did anybody catch this game last night? If you didn't you missed an excellent game. Brett Favre won this time but what do you think will happen when he plays at Green Bay?

Anyways, Rodgers played well for how little protection he got from his line. He almost got them back in it in the fourth.

Awesome game!

Watched bits of it. I'm not really a football fan, though it's hard to avoid the Packer enthusiasm around here. Favre has earned himself a place in the Packer Hall of Fame, and nobody will forget him for that, but there are plenty of people disenchanted with him now, and more so after the game I'm sure. I'm going to be very interested to see what kind of reception he gets when they come to play here. Could be anywhere from a standing ovation to a big yawn to throwing rotten tomatoes.

There's no doubt he can still play, though.

I'm from Minnesota and it's nice to finally have a Quarterback who will give us a chance to win every game. He could not have played better. Aaron Rodgers is also a good quarterback, he tore up our secondary. His turnovers and safety really hurt the Packers. Vikes SuperBowl??????? Laughing

No way. I don't think anybody in the NFC Central is good enough to make it.

My wish for Favre is that he have a good but not spectacular year, NOT get hurt, and really retire at the end. He holds more records than anyone else is going to get even close to, probably ever; he's got way more money than he'll ever need; IMO he's risking too much in order to gain too little.

Is it just me or did I just get used to the announcers when Favre played in Green Bay. It sounded like a love affair on TV.

Perhaps we were just use to hearing it when Brett was on our team.

Minnesota has a great player. Many people are torn back here.
