Good luck to you!!! I have never smoked in my life so I don't know waht you are going thorugh... My dad has always been a smoker and has tried quitting a couple of times but always goes back to it.... it's a tough addiction to shake. It really is about will power and just getting ont eh horse and doing it! You can have supplements to help you along the way but you really have to WANT to do it and KNOW you can do it!!! Good luck!!!

The most important thing is that you have to want to quit smoking. I have quit before, but relapsed. I am in the process of quitting again. Day 3 is the hardest! The gum will help with the oral fixation that goes along with addiction.

When you crave a cigarette, don't think about how good you would feel, but instead try to concentrate on the disgusting aspects of smoking. Think about how it makes your hands smell, the nasty taste in your mouth etc. Changing the way you think about smoking has helped me.

If you smoke you have to smoke in a limit.
That should not harm you internally.
Otherwise it will be quite tough for you to manage yourself.

For added will-power, use DAILY vitamins and exercise, with whole living foods. The exercise creates a drug called adrenalin (better than nicotine), and I've quit since March 15, 2004...

The truth is, if one decides to quit, he has to have that decisiveness to really quit. There should never be any compromise. It is never wise to try out a few sticks because this will lead him back to smoking. This time, if he decides to go back to smoking, he will be a heavier smoker than before.
