I like the answering machine and umbrella ad ideas. The rest aren't really odd and are in fact conventional ways of promoting a site.
Anyway, here are mine:
- graffiti art where you include the URL
- QR code of your site URL printed on sheets of paper and posted anywhere. Of course, this should also include instructions on how one can decode the QR code using their phones.

Your car can be the best one. Build up your car to promote your business. That url as a christmas ornament is a stretch but if it works you got to work it.

Thanks for the old ideas, they were very helpful to me also, I keep looking for this kind of stuff, keep up the good work. For Making Money Online, you can also use Adsense if you have website it is high paying nowadays.
