Stay away from payday loans its a trap. They can charge up to %25 of the loan amount. That means if you take out $100 dollars than you owe them $25. Rip off. Why would you want to work hard for your money, get it taxed by the Gov't for 20% and then have someone else literally tax you another %25 and all you have is about half left of your gross income.

And that 25% is NOT per annum, either. APR's on payday loans can equal loan-sharking rates.

Let me recalculate this to simplify. 100$ for 1 week, with 25$ charge is 1300% annual interest rate or if you have it for 2 weeks, 650% interest rate.
This is BAD news and a trap people get stuck in, borrowing all the time and never get caught up. DO NOT DO THIS!! Borrow from family, ask a bank for a loan or line of credit or if its an emergency take out cash on a credit card (emergency only), but pay it off! At least 30% interest rate on a credit card is nothing to 650-1300% interest rate, and you will be fine if you pay it off. Did i mention PAY IT OFF?
Another option might be peer to peer lending (sometimes called mico lending), its an emerging idea and may be a good answer to help you out.

Hello Everyone,
As I am looking for some urgent cash, Yesterday one of my friend has suggest me that now payday cash advances can be done completely online. Oh my god! I did not know about such sort of rate. That is pure robbery. I never considered it but now that I know I will only let my enemy take this loan.
