a house is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. and to improve the value of your property you have to make careful invesetment and improvements to it.

The value of your house will depend on the economy and the area where you live. You can get a realtor and get comparables of the houses in the neighborhood.

The most important is the location where is the house. But you have to have lucky as well, and some knowledge of how these things work in general. You now, you have to be in the right place in the right time...
