It's just a form letter sent by a computer. You'd have gotten the same letter if it was 12 cents or 12 dollars or 1200 dollars.

They don't send letters out if you owe under 10.
They also don't really send you to collections unless you owe over $25.
And the guy wasn't sure if the $25 was correct. He thinks they may have raised it. So perhaps $12 isn't substantial after all.
They had me make the check to COW. City of Westminster.

To head colded to do math. Trying to find some daycare options and I'm picking up viruses checking them out.
If my house were more aproprate for it I would consider the daycare licence. The going rate is $35 a kid in my area. Wonder if it is legal to run them unlicenced? Not that I would do that becasue in all honest my house wouldn't qualify for good reasons. Not enough space that isn't broken up by stairs.
I know some daycares are limited to 6 kids because they don't have enough outside space.
