If you watch movies often it is worth it as they have a lot of distribution centers around the US.

Most Internet DVD sites have a one-month or 2-week free trial period. Just sign up for the free trial period, cancel before they start charging you, move on to another Internet DVD site, and repeat the whole thing all over again.
They make money because they assume that a certain proportion of those who subscribe for the free trial are too lazy to get out of it (vendor lock-in). All you need to do is simply have the energy to cancel the contract.

I'm considering joining the Blockbuster version of NetFlix. It's basically the same service, only you get in-store deals too.

I used to use this service, but after the mailman for my apartment complex kept stealing my movies I gave up on it.
Netflix won't charge you for movies you didn't receive, but it looks bad if it continues to happen over and over... and it did.

I have found NetFlix to be an excellent service. I love being able to add movies to my list whenever I think of them and knowing that eventually I will get to watch them. It sure beats that feeling of walking around the perimeter of the video store going..."Ummm...ummm....I dunno, what do you wanna see...oh, let's just get this terrible movie and get out of here."

Netflix is awesome, but Blockbuster is coming up from behind. This new no late fees thing really is sweet. I'd give that shot--they have a similar service where you can order movies online.
