I am no SEO expert, but I am going to try an experiment here. I am working an online Social Networking site and want to get Google to place a website high in the natural (non-sponsored) results when people do a search for their name, Yuwie.
The website doesn't matter, it's getting my name associated with the site that I am trying to do, so I just started a Podcast. My theory is that Podcasting is a favored destination for Google searches and all you need to do is get their robots to find it.
That's why I changed my sig line here, I think forums are another prime resource for one way links that Google will recognize, so that's why I used a key word text link and of course there is no link back.
So it will be interesting to see in a few days, if you do a Google search for the word Yuwie, if my Podcast shows up. It can't be content at this point, since there is only one episode so far, but I think it will anyway.
Any bets?

Thanks, it was down for a while because I made a STUPID billing error and got it suspended. What was amazing was after I called their attention to the payment I made, it was up in minutes. This host is impressive.
