What do you honestly think about this? Do you think it would be worth buy lets say 200 dollars worth of dinars? Would it be a wise investment.

In the last message you were given a web site for information. Please refer to the last message. Before purchasing any currency, you have to be careful that it is really what you want to do. There is a lot of risk involved in dealing with a currency you know nothing about. You are the individual making the final decision, but you might check this web site out

http://www.iraqdinars.biz/index.html

Just be careful that this is really what you want to do.

It seems like a low risk to me  Reply with quote

Investing in the Dinar seems like a low risk for me. The currency should increase it's value sometime.(even a penny would be a nice turn around) The only way i see the dinar being a total failure is if they get rid of the currency and create a new currency when the gorvernment is fully established.

I was thinking about this as well. My only concern is a complete currency change.

Outside of that the dinar has nowhere to go but up. Prior to the gulf war I believe the dinar was stronger than the U.S. dollar.

You might as well try it, I read on this one website that you can purchase something like a million Dinar for $180 US dollars.

If it is true and the Dinar goes up to pre Gulf War value it will be a great investment. It seems like a low risk to take. I'd chance losing $180 to make a million.

Just do a Google search for Iraqi Dinar. There are plenty of reputable currency exchange sites that are selling these Dinars dirt cheap.

The biggest thing to remember about this is this speculation is based on a different situation.

Kuwait had a good economy. I raq has alot of debt and is on the brink of civil war. I think they will atleast devalue the money or just get entirely new money, possibly if this government doesn't last

Interesting,

If you were to keep up with current events in Iraq you would learn that 86% of Iraq's former Saddam regime debt has already been forgiven, and more are doing the same every week. With the huge oil reserves and gas reserves, and now very little national debt, and lines of credit being extended into the billions, this is the safest investment you will ever see in a lifetime.

As to Kuwait, I made out extremely well when Iraq invaded Kuwait and the currency dropped like a rock, but this was an entirely different situation than Iraq today. In fact, I see Iraq as a 100 times better opportunity for a far greater ROI than Kuwait ever was, and I made six figures within 18 months with only a small investment. With Iraq dinar, $1,000. will make you a millionaire in less than six months, with zero risk, so you can't beat that even with the best stocks.

Good luck to all, Mike

Interesting,

I must correct you, a million NEW Iraqi dinar is not $180. that is for the old worthless Saddam notes which are collector items only at this time. Make sure you know what you are investing in before you make a huge mistake.
Current prices on NEW Iraqi dinar is in the $800.00 to $1,300. range for million dollars depending on denomination of notes.

Good luck to all, Mike

Funny,

Do you have any idea how old this opinion is? When doing research on Irag, you need to put April 2006 in search term in order not to pull up crap like this opinion. LOL

Do a little research and report back to us how much debt Iraq now has? This opinion stated $125,000,000,000.00, so tell us what it is as we speak and then you will know what savy investors know about the Iraqi dinar.

Good luck to all, Mike
