| Question about Drop Selling - New to Online Marketing |
|
|
Recently, a close confident told me he has a friend that orders Hollister clothing, reselling it on eBay.
Now, I'm not looking to perpetuate unethical commerce, though I am very interested in the concept of making a profit online. Buying and reselling sounds reminiscent of drop-selling, so how is it done? Who has it worked for?
What products are "hot" on the online market? Is there anyway to check eBay or other online, commerce sites for data?
I'm looking for legal ways to make a profit, I don't in any way condone bootlegging.
Thank you,
Grace

Unless I missed something I don't recall drop selling being illegal. Drop selling is simply parketing a product that you yourself do not keep an inventory of. For instance, you would sell a pair of pants on ebay for $15 that you know you could buy for $10 and then you would order those pants and ship them to the address of the person who bought them from you for a $5 profit. The only problem it the market became so saturated that it almost wasn't worth getting in to. As far as the legality of it all I don't believe it is illegal unless, like I said, I missed something big, I was away from the internet marketing scene for a few months.
