Phone Scam  Reply with quote

just wanted to comment on those calling around as the US Govt. offering $5000-$25,000 in Govt. Grants for a small up front fee of $249.99

i had heard of the scam before so i was ready when i got the call a couple days ago. i kept the guy on the phone for soooo long.. then got his supervisor and get this... heres the information i got from the supervisor.

[edited, we don't want posted real peoples information thats why there are X's now]

name: Arish J SXXXXXXXXX
banks with bank of america
checking account number: XXXXXXXX
routing number: 0XXXXXXXX

parents address:
XXXXXXXx Mesa valey
ATLANTA, Georgia 30106

business he called as: New Federal Govt Grant
rep id: 1018

boss' office: 702940XXXX
care number 18664544XXX (doesnt work)

where they are located: Fairfield FL 32506

so.... i didnt give him any info but i got all of his and turned around and called the real US GOVT GRANT department. they said i got more information off this guy than anyone has ever gotten, even though the majority of it is probably fake.

incase anyone else gets the call... the real GOVT GRANT fraud hotline: 18004478477 option #2

the lady was extremely nice and gave me the website to the real government grant site as where the scam dude said there wasnt a site.
