Treasury 10-Year Yield is hgher on Fed’s Increase  Reply with quote

Treasury 10-year note yields matched the highest level after the Federal Reserve unexpectedly raised its discount rate for the first time. The central bank’s move represents another pace away from the super-easy monetary policy, said Jason Simpson, an interest-rate strategist at Royal Bank of Scotland Group Plc in London. That will never be taken positively by fixed-income markets. The yield on the 10-year note fell less than one basis point, or 0.01 percentage point, to 3.80 percent

Fed in response to China's recent bond dumping action is to crush the Asia market by raising interest rate. USD may retreat from HK (a gateway to China) so the stock market and real estate bubble may burst than in China. Temporary Fed might want to fight the coming hyper inflation and keep the uptrend of USD to create a false image to people that USD is not junk even it is actually.
