Look at your budget first because it's first priority for you determine how a house fit into it. And also you should check out the location and area where you buy a home, place such as parking, park , plot etc. ensure that area has no criminal or location issue. Talk with your real estate or that area local real estate agent.

Consider repossessed homes as well  Reply with quote

You may consider repossessed houses for sale as well. The repossessions are a great business for the banks and all they want is their money back so may find some great deals here.

First time home buyers always look for good location where they want to buy the house. Also see if the location have such facilities like ransportation, school for your kids, playgrounds, electricity, gas and telephone. After that you must first check the complete documents of the house you are willing to buy and if you can afford real estate agent then do hire him as he will keep you safe from getting into any fraud deal.

Grab all of the mortgage documents you need and head on over to a local broker. That is the best way to learn about the mortgage process and make an informed decision.
