For SEO I use SEOMoz (http://www.seomoz.org/) It's a great tool for linkbuilding, especially now since Yahoo Site Explorer is no longer available.

I use a tool for the email marketing. Through this, I can easily do a lot of email distribution with just a single click. Tools can be greatly helpful.

Besides what has already been mentioned I'm becoming a huge fan of SEO PowerSuite. It's a combination of 4 tools, which means all aspects of your SEO are being taken care of. It never made me feel like I need any other tool or another silver bullet to manage my google presence. Plus, yeah a huuuuge plus is this option it has that generates step by step guides for ya in the form of reports, that's actually cooler and waaay cheaper when having an seo consultant/freelancer hired to do your seo - this is exactly what we were doing 2 years ago, unbelievable.
