Now a days I don't find blog commenting so helpful and boosting any rankings, because blogs providing dofollow type links are full with hundreds of spam comments taking the value of that particular webpage down.

Hi,blog commenting is a one small part of SEO.What about writing guest blogs and asking link backs to your site? I think it is more logical way if you write one blog and then keep on posting on different blogs and requesting webmater backlink to your site.

Most blogs are nofollow; especially every free Blogger blog. If you happen to find a dofollow blog that allows comments, get conversational. But don't waste your time looking for dofollow blogs because that's time taken away from other things.

I agree with mate. also mix your Blog commenting strategy, nofollow and dofollow + other link building techniques that would uplift your rankings mate.

Blog commenting is one of the good strategy in link building. You can get good amount of back links from blog commenting. It helps you to get higher ranking in the search engine like google. But one of the disadvantage of blog commenting is that it is hard to find do follow as well as approved blogs.
