I get the impression that in order to earn a living online, it seems like PTC sites are the least target for a good earning source. Is this true?

PTC sites could make up a very small source of your income. But you'd need to make month with other things too.
I make money with a number of different things myself. I belong to a couple sites that have PTC and I may make $1 here and a $1 there with them. But I don't think PTC will ever become a large source of income.

I will admit that I earn here in the internet. However, what I earn is not enough for me to spend for my household utilities. The money is just an additional funds for mr to use. I think you would rarely see someone who easrns a living in the internet.

I wouldn't say rarely. Look at how many ISP's (Internet Service Providers) there are. Yahoo and Google pretty much exist just on the Internet as well as eBay and a lot of other large sites.
There are income opportunities out there. The trick is to find your niche, something you're good at, and work hard on establishing traffic, etc.

I really think making a living here is not really feasible enough, simply because there are too many scam sites. I just think it is possible, but only a few people manage to earn their actual living in the internet. I guess it will really have to involve patience, hard work, and dedication.

With so many scams, plus the competition, the only thing the web should be used for is cultivating interested prospects, not actually selling as I have learned over the years. I have used it to provide information, and by offering free advice I have built a following based on referrals, the lifeblood of any successful business, online or off.
