I call it "citizen-enforced term limits" and I've been practicing it for the last two national election cycles already: I automatically vote against the incumbent of whichever party, or if I cannot vote for the challenger, I write in the name of someone I could vote for. I believe that I voted for Ronald Reagan in the last presidential election, if I remember right.
