If you invested in YAHOO stock, would an increase in advertising sales for them have an effect on your stock price?
If you do own YAHOO and think that would be true, you should know that a fast growing online discussion forum is now partnering with YAHOO to furnish all it's internal search functions and I'm sure they are making money from it to pay their participants, so it's a win-win.
That's right, I said pay their participants. Anyone who takes part earns money for each post they make. The forum gets paid by advertisers and splits it with those who furnish the content to bring more people there.

Yahoo is closing many service like Yahoo Music, Yahoo Mash,...and its stock price's trend will be going down.
