Hi Green Room Observors:
FYI
Just thought I would pass along some information so you folks don't have to go through what I experienced. There is a company called Gain Publishing that has two programs Precision Time and Date Manager. If you download these two programs you get in excahnge an unlimited number of annoying pop-ups and other ads. I just couldn't put up with it any longer so I uninstalled the two programs, and deleted the Gain Publishing file folder. I don't know if there are files somewhere on my computer, but if there are I will find out where they are coming from and delete them also.
If I see the ads again, I might need the assistance of you technical experts here.
Thanks for your attention.

Thanks for the warning J.
Gain Publishing is another name for the notorious Gator company. They are makers of various applications that are an excuse for spyware to be installed on your machine. Avoid!
Appreciate you sharing your knowledge about that pothole on the information superhighway. I hate popups, and love my Google toolbar popup blocker, makes surfing nicer. BTW, the only popups here are to indicate you have a private message.
One program I use is Lavasoft's AdAware. It can clean-up some of the junk that you tend to pickup along the way, on the net. It's free...

Thanks, Andrew!
By the way, I have an address of a free web site that includes designing and hosting. The address is listed below:

Everyone who is interested can check it out. I am in the process of building a web site with them as we speak. I will keep you posted on my progress, and would appreciate and criticism (positive or negative).
Talk to you soon,
