Oh My God Taxes!!!  Reply with quote

It's time to get my corporation's financial reporting ducks in a row again before my annual CPA tax-time meet-a-thon.

I'm still using Quickbooks 2001. What does everyone else use for this sort of thing?

Anyone filing electronically for their company? Personally?

I have not been in the biz for a couple of years...yep just sitting on my butt...but back then using software that would import to tax software I used was really freakin' nice Smile

and damned if tomorrow ain't the last day to claim "donations" and volunteer organization type stuff...

I have a box of receipts and 3 hefty bags full of clothes and shoes and such I have to inventory and submit by 5:00 tomorrow !

one of things I used to just despize was inventory...

and it continues anyway !

And the wild winds of fortune
Shall carry me onward ... To wither so ever they blow ...

All I can say is TurboTax is my hero.

Discovered this a few years back, after we outgrew the 1040ez, and my how the money and time it has saved us. It really helps with the deductions, so I don't have to have a PhD in accounting to complete my taxes on time.

But even so, I'm still a bit anxious about how it will go this year since we have new business ventures that will need to be accounted for. If we can get half the refund we got last year, we'll be doing great.

I am registered with the IRS; State of NY; and State of NJ as Electronic Filer.
I cannot file it myself, but use a professional tax program that has the designation of Electronic Return Originator.
