Using PrePaid CC's for Online Offers |

So I'm going to try out one of those freebie sites (the one's that use ads such as: GET YOUR FREEEEE iPOD BY SHOOTING THE BABY!) The site I'm using is yourfreeflatscreen.com I plan on using a prepaid CC to sign up for the offers. When signing up for the prepaid CC, do I have to use my real name/address, or can I use John Doe/Pizza Hut's address? From my understanding, as long as the address on the prepaid and the address that is used to sign up for the offers is the same, I'm set (apparently sometimes they check to make sure they match). Alternatively, I might use a Visa gift card, because of the many miscellaneous fees associated with prepaid CC's. Anyone know if the gift cards will work?

I would think that it would have to be your real address because if something happens illegally with the card they arent going to want to go to a pizza place and find out that its not your address. That would make a lot of fraud to happen due to the fact people could use stolen credit cards to purchse them and use fake address's on them then the criminal would never be cought would they?
Anyway, if your looking for reputable sites like that try the websites referralswapper.com and anything4free.com

Hello,
You could but I would do a small checking account
at a place like Commerce Bank since they have low
startup fees.
If anything crazy happens they will give you your
money back if it's ID theft related.

Chase isn't very good about stopping unauthorized use. Yes, I initally authorized a payment. But after reviewing the product I asked that my order be cancled. And they complied for a few months then started to charge me. Bank said because I gave them my pin number to my debit they could just basically charge me at will. So I had to get rid of the debit card. So I won't use a debit card out of my account again.
Live and learn though I did kind of know better. Some people do like the product; but, I wasn't smart enough to figure out how to use the marketing tools. Or do they just say they like the tools to earn commisions? I just know I couldn't figure out how to use the "tools" so I requested my money back right away. And this was honnored for a few months. . . .

In the case of a prepaid CC, use a private mailbox. This ensures that you'll get the card when it's sent to you, and will be valid for receiving any products you order and pay for using the card online.
