Hello,
I am a student out of community college this fall and transferring to a university this upcoming Spring. I have no loans for community and I am paid in full so far. However, at my job over the past few years I have earned and saved a good amount of money. However, none of it is on record and stored in a safe deposit box.
My question. While applying for the stafford loans, am I allowed to invest my money without question while applying for these loans? Or should I keep my money hidden in fear that they will make me use this money before aquiring a loan?
I would really appreciate any help anyone has to offer about this situation. I wanted to put my money into a money market account, or even invest in a few wise stock options. Thanks in advance!
