Thanks.

Yes there are ways to make money online with no investment and the best place to find them is in communities and forums like this one. You just need to hang around long enough to learn who you can trust not to scam you,

While there are plenty of online income options available, real "Jobs" are in the minority. In traditional jobs, you, the employee, produce value for the employer and are compensated for that.
Once you try to do it from home, the employer has less control of your time and quality of work. So, the home-based job has to match certain criteria to satisfy the employer's need for validation.
Some of the better known home-based positions are customer service, where the call center routes calls to home-based responders. The calls can be monitored, and timers will show you were on the phone for "X" hours per call and "X" hours per day to qualify your work for pay.
In other cases, your home-based employment will be on a comission basis, so the more sales you generate, the more you earn. This would be online or telephone sales, such as magazine subscriptions and similar sales that will earn you a one-time commission, or long-distance service contracts that will pay you a percentage of the monthly LD charges.
There are home-based business opportunities that you can start for little or no money, but they may require more time and effort than you want to invest.
Here's a list of criteria that you can use to evaluate various bizopps to see if they match your needs and business goals:
"There is no such thing as a perfect business endeavor
...it simply does not exist--period!"
--Richard Kaeser, January 2, 2000
So what do you do?
You search for one that is as close as possible to perfection. Look for one you think is ideal for you, but by all means, investigate, investigate, investigate... regardless of overture!
Here then, is a list of prerequisites you should consider for evaluating and analyzing the potential of any new enterprise--
The ideal business...
NO Dealer Fees
NO Inventory
NO Delivering
NO Employees
NO Limited Territory
NO Sales Taxes
NO RISK
* requires no investment - that makes it totally risk-free - nothing to lose!
* has an unlimited, massive market with extraordinary growth possibilities and potential.
* is one you can test and try out before you make a commitment, not after its too late!
* provides you with products that are products that are purchased again and again by the same customer -- repeat orders a certainty!
* is one that gives you the opportunity to build a customer base that you will own -- it's called, EQUITY!
* has no franchise fees, no territory restrictions, no reports, no regulations -- total independence- freedom.
* has an exceptionally low overhead -- no significant cash expenditures, no investments in equipment, inventory, location -- no payroll -- no credit losses -- no loans -- no accounts receivable to carry.
* is free from government controls, regulations and can be relocated.
* provides unlimited income forever -- no quotas.
* gives you leverage -- the opportunity to multiply yourself.
* offers a variety of nationally recognized products at competition less prices!
* gives you negotiating authority to set your own selling prices!
* pays you commissions (without tax deductions) up front on a daily basis -- a good profit for the time expended.
Good luck in finding a home-based situation that matches your needs.

I have a business that meets all your criteria except this one. How can any business pay you commission up front? Most require you to earn it first, then pay you on a monthly basis which is fine with me.

The company I sell for is a national leader in the field of promotional advertising. As a family owned business, they don't have stock holders they have to answer to. K & B is processing orders for $80 Million in promotional advertising annually, with all the sales coming from their Independent Agents (IA). By advancing the commission at the time the order is placed, they are able to keep dealers from looking elsewhere for a better deal.
Because of their size, K & B doesn't have to put down deposits or pay for orders in advance. So, it's only a matter of weeks between when the order is shipped and the bill is due, before K & B can expect to be paid by the customer. I especially love selling an order of 6000 custom-printed calendars in January, receiving my advance commission within hours, knowing my customers won't receive their calendars or bill until November.
K & B earns a lot of loyalty from this one program, while the industry standard is commission is paid only after the invoice is paid.
K & B was also the first in this industry to offer daily direct deposits on commissions, so no more waiting for the check to arrive in the mail.
I was introduced to this exceptional company back in '93, and doubled my income during my first full year with the.

I highly recommend freelance writing as a home-based career, if you have the ability and interest. Opportunities range from technical writing to the next great American novel. Pay can be modest, at least at first, but as your reputation grows, so will your income. Income can also fluctuate a lot month to month, so you need a cash cushion. I've been writing full-time for the last three years, and I've never enjoyed life more. Of course, it helps when you can live happily on a very modest income, like me: But then again, I'm more interested in amassing a quality of life and NOT a quantity of stuff. Check out websites like WritersDigest.com if you're interested in learning more about careers in freelance writing.
Good luck & Stay Cheap!

Oh, I forgot to mention one of the best things: The up front investment to start a career as a freelance writer is almost zero.

There are legitimate opportunities out there. You just need to do a lot of research to sort out the scams from the legitimate sites if you plan on using the Internet.
Good luck.
I make enough to pay the bills with these sites. If I can do it, I truly believe anyone can.
