I was trying to use the MORNINGSTAR portfolio manager to track my investments and can't figure out how to do this with my C and I fund TSP investments. Can anyone help me with this? I can't find the right ticker i guess.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with the TSP program, so I can't answer. But there are other finance sites; try some of them; I'm not too impressed with Morningstar's symbol finding capability. Also check the TSP web site; maybe there's info there. And then there's always the good old standby: The Wall Street Journal. They list the prices of about every security there is.

| Quotes to track TSP Funds |

The quotes closest matching the TSP funds are:
F Fund: symbol AGG
C Fund: $SPX (the S&P 500)
S Fund: DWCP is best, but not always supported. $EMW is also close.
I Fund: symbol EFA
It's worth noting that the TSP end of day price change will not exactly match these quote symbols, but the action will be pretty close.
I'm not aware of a good match for the G Fund, and open to suggestions there.

For some reason the C fund ticker you gave me can't be found, and the other one gives me different info. The price for shares of the I find shuold be about 24, while the ticker shows a price of about 80?

The only place for fact data on the TSP funds is at www.tsp.gov - so the quotes I referred to were for the underlying financial instruments the TSP funds track. This will result in totally different price scales - but (in theory) the same percent gains/declines.
I'm not familiar with the Morningstar portfolio manager, but you could try removing the $ prefix from the symbols if they're not working as I typed them.
