Go to Amazon and look for "the E-code" by Joe Vitale et. all.
I also recommend this one: Web Copy That Sells by Maria Veloso --
this one will teach you exactly how to write extremly profitable web copy.
I know you're not an "ebook" fan, but you can download a copy of my
ebook "How To Succeed Online" for free:
http://hypnoticmindtraining.com/OnlineSuccess -- print it if you like, but
DO read it.
There are many more, but if you just read these three and get to work,
you'll soon see a lot of profit.
Have a great day!

There's some commentary about the first two books somewhere on the forum. If interested, use the search function (above right side of top ad banner)

There are so many ebooks out there that are great reads and many that are just fluff.
I have bought many ebooks in the past and the ones that I have printed off and still refer to (as they are the ones making me money) are:
Honest Income Program - Written by Steven Wagenheim. He doesn't really explain how to make money online, he gives you 3 programs that will make you money. He also keeps sending update. Good Read.
Honest Riches - Previously 'Thank You Rich Jerk' - Written by Holly Mann. Very good for newbie's explains how you can make money online without having any start up cash. Covers everything from affiliate marketing, Ebay, Dropshipping etc.
Worn Paper System - I'm going to say this is written by Sara Brown although no author has been stated (written in her style). Discusses 3 incomes streams you can work on to create a living online. Simple instructions.
MPAM - This is not an ebook but a subscription website which teaches step by step courses in working from home on Traffic, websites, affiliate marketing, mini sites, pay per click. Also has a forum and offers money for each article you write.
The other thing I would say to do is have a look round for free ebooks and also search in different forums. Remember to search your question before you ask it, some forum members can get quite rude if you're a newbie and ask a question that they've answered 20 previous times.
Hope you can find something you are interested in, remember making money online is not going to always go your way and you have to put a lot of work in.

I would highly recommend the book "The 80/20 Principle". It doesn't specifically focus on the internet but the principles will apply anywhere in life.
