You may be afraid but it doesn't change anything, it's as passive as it gets. If you are going to be online anyway, how can having a toolbar open on your browser without any further activity required be considered anything but passive?

I am waiting for launch as well for I did pretty well with former concept called AllAdvantage back in late 90's. FREE N' EASY is what I like given I am online all day surfing and promoting my other businesses anyway. I like the concept, so can't wait for it to get started.

The big secret if you call it that, is to get referrals. That's what made me the most from All Advantage and I have over 100 here now. It should be good is right.
