My opinion on doublers.  Reply with quote

You've all heard of all these doubler programs popping up all over the place. Many people's scam radar starts beeping at the mention. I personally think with some knowledge and discipline, you can walk away from these with a couple extra bucks. It's no more risky than going to a c*sino and putting you're money on a roullette wheel. If you don't like them because you know some people walk away losers with these, remember, if people throw their money around without studying, they can't feel angry because they lost out.
Here are some key things to think about if you want to try these programs:
a) Money doubling time is shorter when the doubler is newer. It starts to slow down as the member count starts to slow down, try to get in when there are fewer than 1000 members.

b) Try to find doublers that allow you to buy advertising or other products, even if you're money doesn't double you will at least end up with something.

c) Diversify your investments so if some fail others will benefit you. If one of the programs begins to pick up in speed you can make back all the money you lost in the other ones.

d) Don't treat these programs as serious investments, treat it as gambling or as a game. Use only money you can afford to lose.

e) Don't let your money double over and over and over, if you prolong your withdrawal you are increasing your chances of losing money.

With a little practice you will begin to recognize one's that will be profitable, and if your smart enough, you can walk away with healthy profits. I have fun trying different ones out and so far I have am on the profit side and I leave a litlle profit in certain programs that I trust. I know I cautioned letting your money keep doubling, but I don't care to lose this profit and i my money does double 8 times over, I'll be really happy as that will be a very nice profit.
ex. If $10 doubles 8 times
10
20
40
80
160
320
640
$1280

"b) Try to find doublers that allow you to buy advertising or other products, even if you're money doesn't double you will at least end up with something."

I might be intrested in one for the advert angle.

Of course I'm not paying a thing for this post.

Seriously how do they double the money?

I know some people think Stocks are a scam because of Enron. But there are good companies that creat value. Not all companies are Enron.

"d) Don't treat these programs as serious investments, treat it as gambling or as a game. Use only money you can afford to lose."

One should never invest money they can't lose.

"e) Don't let your money double over and over and over, if you prolong your withdrawal you are increasing your chances of losing money."

I saw one of these deals where you were always required to reignvest half.

Still, don't think any will work if there is not a sorce of the income that creats value.

As Rainbow once bellowed "You get nothing for nothing and nothing is ever free."

You asked how they double the money. There is no definite answer as they all work differently. Some of the more legitimate ones use the money and invest in advertising, kind of like buying stocks. As the advertising generates sales, profit is made and a percentage paid out to the doublers that invested. However, some are just fancy pyramid schemes that generate money through new people joining up.

If they are making so much off advertizing I don't see why they would need investors.

Anything that can over double your money seems like a gamble to me.

I've been gambling since the 4th grade and usually come out a head cuz I tend to place better bets.

There are always people who bet on emotion as far as football and stuff like that goes.

I tend to agree, if they had a truely profitable system, there wouldn't be the need for continual new investors. If they were running a pyramid scheme then the need for new suckers would be high!

Just because a system is profitable, it doesn't mean that investors aren't needed. Walmart has a truly profitable system, but they still turn to investors. Obviously an advertising firm couldn't get a huge bank loan to run their campaign, but if they get small investments from many investors, and return profit on their "stocks" then they can follow through with their idea. And just like the stock market, you can lose money on these too.

Good point about Wal*Mart. Stocks are regulated by the SEC. But Enron shows that is not a guarantee there either.

All investments have some level of risk.

And I might give a doubler or two a chance if it provides some advertizing,
