I put 1,100 into investments does that count?

My wife gets mad at me for spending so much on food.

We also have a new mortgage that is lower intrest but we are putting the same amount towards the payment so we will be done much sooner.

Is that 1,100 completely up to your discretion?

No the 1100 is not up to my discression. I would be putting more into my retirement funds.

The wife likes to pay extra on the mortage.

Have a kid on the way and need to make sure we have mony if he wants to go to college.

Hopefully the kid can get a scholarship but can't count on that.

*LOL* yes it feels great to be setting back that much at 25 and thats after setting back 10% in 401K. Not to mention the money the wife spends Wink

Part of the reason is my company is picking up my apt utilities cable phone etc.. while i am in PA so for now i ditched my place in houston. So only bills i have are insurance and any car notes etc...

I've been like a sponge the last few months. saturating my self with every piece of financial reading and advice. Hopefully in time after college I'll have more discretionary money.
